Automated In Situ Hybridization and Immunohistochemistry Techniques
Biological techniques such as in situ hybridization (ISH) and those used in immunohistochemistry (IHC) are time-consuming with many liquid handling steps that put samples at risk for pipetting errors or contamination. However, these protocols are necessary to visualize key genetic or molecular structures and their expression.
This webinar will introduce a fully automated approach for ISH and IHC that eliminates the above experimental errors and accelerates sample processing speed. All preparatory steps from rehydration to antibody detection can be performed with microliter precision of liquid addition and novel methods for removal and addition of buffer solutions; this is applied to both whole mount/vibratomes and sections on slides in a high-throughput process.
New highlights
- Also the popular HCR™- & RNAscope™ protocols can be performed (e.g. for multiplexing).
- The Whole mount option allows the processing of embryoids or organoids.
Any biologist or biochemist researching the genome or genetic expression will benefit from viewing this presentation.
What You’ll Learn
- Improve the reproducibility of sample preparation for in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry
- Work more efficiently, increasing research throughput
- Superior results from reduced RNAse contamination
A special highlight: During this online seminar, Dr. Martin Technau shows the devices live in action.
